Good question! This was my concern when I purchased my first older dog, a 3-year-old female. Within weeks, she was the most loyal of all my dogs. German Shepherds are adaptable and within a short period of time you become their pack.

It depends on the training and the dog. We do not rush training or force the dog through a training program. Our training program is based on positive reinforcement and reward. The typical level 1 dog can go home at 15 months and level 2 at 18 months.

Registration Papers: AKC, SV (German) or RSV (German)

Health Records: all veterinary paperwork, all age-appropriate shots, certified hips and elbows (if less than 2 years old a hip & elbow guarantee), DM clear

After a 2 to 3 week bonding period, a trainer will visit you in home to instruct you on how to handle your dog.
